January 3rd 2012 - First post of the new year :)

Today I was finally able to get back to the sewing machine after coming home from Virginia with a nasty head cold.

I made 10 cloth napkins for our son, Terry in Virginia.  They are nice and masculine! No pic at this time as they are ready to mail.

Made with a "Through the Seasons" charm pack by Elenore Burns and some Connecting Threads discounted fabric from my stash.

I also was able to finish a small quilt top today.  I used a charm pack (5 inch square already cut out) my "lil" twister tool and some fabric from my stash.  Pretty cool isn't it.  Colors that I wouldn't use as a rule combined nicely.

  1. What pretty colors mom! Love the purple borders as well. Must have been a lot of work to make it work together :D
