The Wonky Easter Wall Quilt

I have never had a quilt not come out to  the approximate size it is intended to be.  This one had issues!  I called my g/f Clara over for help, even Carnell came down to help figure out what the heck I did wrong.  Never the less, I finished it off and will just call it the "wonky Easter quilt."

Please forgive me quilting gods for I know not what I have done!

Update as of march 29th. 2013. My daughter Jessica came to visit this week, told me to take it down, it was not quite up to by snuff (to paraphrase nicely). It now has a happy home with my close friend's dogs. Even pets share the quilting love.

Richard and Amber's Wedding Present

Eight placemats and napkins

A table runner to match

I was given some lovely grape and wine bottle material from my secret sister last year.  I wasn't too sure what to do with it.  My sister, Barbara has been to Wisconsin to visit my nephew Richard and his new wife Amber and told me that they have a wine thing going on in their kitchen.  So here is my creation for them!

Thirft Store Bargin

On a rent trip to St Joseph's Thrift store on Lincoln in Santa Monica I found some quilting things!

6 books for 50 cents each and a full size quilt batting made of polyester for $ 4.00.

I may not use them and have already send the Machine Quilting Primer to Canada for a friend, but it is nice to have in my reference library.
